No. A virtual consultation is a great way to start a conversation about cosmetic goals, but video cannot show us decay, bone levels, or hidden infections. We still need to see you in person and take digital records before we can finalize a treatment plan.
Please bring the written treatment plan from the other dentist, any insurance estimates, and your available X-rays. If your old records are incomplete or unclear, we will take our own digital images so we can give you an accurate assessment.
If you receive oral sedation, absolutely not. You must arrange for a responsible adult to drive you to and from the appointment. If you only receive nitrous oxide (laughing gas), it wears off very quickly and you are typically cleared to drive yourself home.
Often, yes. If time allows and it is clinically appropriate, we aim to complete your treatment during that first visit to get you out of pain. However, some complex emergencies require us to stabilize the tooth first and schedule the definitive treatment for a separate visit.
