Losing a full set of teeth can make eating your favorite foods and smiling for photos feel stressful. We are here to help you get your confidence back with custom complete dentures crafted to look completely natural and fit comfortably.
When you need to replace a full arch of teeth, complete dentures offer a secure, custom-crafted solution. We use modern, high-quality materials to design an appliance shaped to your gum contours, delivering better comfort and stability than dentures of the past. We help you with:
Feature | Upper Complete Denture | Lower Complete Denture |
|---|---|---|
How It Fits | Covers the roof of your mouth (palate) completely | Shaped like a horseshoe to leave room for your tongue |
How It Stays Secure | Relies on natural suction created against your palate | Relies on gravity and the coordination of your cheeks and tongue |
Adjustment Period | Usually adapts faster due to the strong natural suction | Often takes a little more practice and time to feel fully secure |
We take highly precise digital scans and molds of your gums to capture your gum contours so your final denture sits flush.
Before finishing your denture, we have you try on a wax model to check the fit, bite alignment, and the look of the teeth so we can make adjustments.
Once your custom denture is crafted in the lab, we place it in your mouth, evaluate the bite closely, and ensure it feels smooth and comfortable.
As your mouth gets used to the new appliance, we have you return for a follow-up visit to relieve any minor pressure spots and fine-tune your fit.
When Dr. Mohammad Hammoud designs complete dentures, he knows that aesthetics are just as important as function. We scan rather than gag you with a tray of putty, and we look closely at your facial structure, natural gum coloring, and bite alignment to create a prosthesis that looks exactly like a healthy, natural smile. We walk you through the entire process, including what to expect during the adjustment phase, so nothing catches you off guard.
Not at all. Modern dentures are crafted using high-grade materials that mimic the slight translucency of natural enamel and the varied pink tones of healthy gum tissue. We work with you to pick a shape and shade that fits your face naturally.
It usually takes a few weeks for your cheek muscles, tongue, and gums to adapt to the new appliance. Practicing speaking out loud and cutting your food into smaller pieces will help you adjust much faster.
A well-fitting denture, especially an upper denture, should stay in place with natural suction. However, some patients choose to use a small amount of adhesive for extra peace of mind, particularly for lower dentures while they are adjusting.
You should brush your dentures daily using a soft-bristled brush and a non-abrasive denture cleanser, not regular toothpaste. At night, always store them in water or a denture-soaking solution to keep them from drying out and losing their shape.
